This may involve you working away from home relentlessly every week, departing on a Sunday night and returning on a Friday evening.

In particular, we are interested in your competence to fix paper towel, soap or toilet roll dispensers on the wall using permanenet fixing techniques.

This will involve you being on your feet all day and pushing a large wheeled cage around a site containing the equipment we fit.

We are required by our clients that all the fitters we employ have a basic Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check as we work in sensitive sites & areas within a healthcare environment. This can be acquired online at http://www.disclosurescotland.co.uk/basic.htm.
THIS IS A MANDATOY REQUIREMENT.

Here is some information about the pay and expenses associated with the work we offer.

We pay for the fitting by the unit installed and the rate is dependent on the type of unit. Most of our fitters install an average of 65 units a day.

We have some jobs where we will pay a day rate or if we are stranded with no stock! There is a minimum day rate which may vary upwards on certain jobs.

Accommodation costs are refunded if you need to pay and it falls within budget. However accommodation is usually organized by Goodenough administration who will pay the guest house/hotel directly.

Parking & congestion charges are refunded at cost.

Health & Safety Management

Health and Safety policies are now a major concern in our working environment. They are also the subject of government legislation where compliance is mandatory on both the contracting company and the contractor.
